Our Mission Statement:

Sharing the “Hope on Our Side."

HopeSide Community Church is outreach driven to simplify and amplify the Gospel to promote wholesome living now and the hope of life to come through innovative media and community programs. You are invited to partner with us to FORWARD HOPE for Mission completion in our lifetime!

Background:

HopeSide Community Church was created by HopeSide Ministries, Inc. in mid-2011 to pilot a unique outreach model.  This is primarily an outreach mission.  The first meeting was held on Sept. 3, 2011.

1. The HopeSide Community Church exists to be a sanctuary or a place of refuge for anyone to be accepted and nurtured to wholeness in Jesus.  Volunteer opportunities are given to all who may wish to serve in various capacities.  Share your passion for Christ through any ability you may have at least once.  Your passion may bring someone to Christ.  Or, we can share our passion so that you can be equipped and inspired to share Jesus.

2. Beliefs and theological positions on matters of Christian doctrine is Seventh-day Adventist.  However, anyone with any background can freely and actively fellowship and worship at HopeSide.  The Bible is held as the only standard by which all other things are measured.

3. Administration of the church is by HopeSide Community Church Board in partnership with HopeSide Ministries, Inc.  HopeSide Church is a part of the sisterhood of the Seventh-day Adventist Churches as a Mission Group in the Allegheny East Conference.  As a result of our unconventional outreach efforts, there are people of diverse backgrounds who worship and serve regularly in our mission group.

Our Passion Statement:

Anyone can build God's kingdom through HopeSide!

Col. 3:11
11 [In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [who are the most savage of all], nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person].

Gal. 3:28
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Exodus 19:6
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

1 Peter 2:9
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
