About Us

Thank you for visiting us.  We strive to promote caring relationships most of all through all aspects of living.

HopeSide means "Hope On Your Side."  Our Mission Statement is: "Sharing HopeSide." I.E., Jesus is the hope on our side.

In the pursuit of a life that is fulfilling and meaningful, there are many possibilities to choose from, and many challenges to overcome.  Our main purpose at HopeSide is to present FOUR simple steps for your consideration so that you can find real meaning and happiness in this life and beyond.  These steps encompass the MIND, BODY, SPIRIT and COMMUNITY.  Each step is presented every week and repeated every month throughout the year in a manner that is engaging, uplifting and informative with the objective of helping anyone make progress in every facet of living.

We promote a very inclusive, upbeat and friendly atmosphere in our services.  We are Bible based and multicultural, presenting the whole truth of God's word.  Music is contemporary yet inclusive.  You are family at HOPESIDE no matter your background.  Check out HopeSide's original program model.

Operational Agenda:
HopeSide Community Church is mission driven for mission completion.  You are invited to partner with us to FORWARD HOPE by promoting wholesome living now and the hope of life to come through innovative media and community programs.

Our attitudes and all operations are guided by two values: Love of and to God and Love to Man Mark 12:30-31.  The first and greatest doctrine is the LOVE of God upon which all other doctrines are built on.  The Love of God must be manifest in love to man without which, nothing else matters according to 1 Cor. 13:1.

Background:
HopeSide Community Church was launched in mid-2011 by HopeSide Ministries, Inc., which is a tax exempt Religious & Charitable organization.  Anand K. C. is the sole founder of HopeSide.  This is primarily an outreach mission.  The first meeting was held on Sept. 3, 2011.  It is not affiliated with any other organization.  Check out HopeSide's original program model created in 2010 that formed the basis of HopeSide Church as it exists today.

1. The HopeSide Community Church exists to be a sanctuary or a place of refuge for anyone to be accepted and nurtured to wholeness in Jesus. Volunteer opportunities are given to all who may wish to serve in various capacities.  Share your passion for Christ through any ability you may have at least once.  Your passion may bring someone to Christ, or, we can share our passion so that you can be equipped and inspired to share Jesus.

2. Anyone with any background can freely and actively fellowship and worship at HopeSide.  The Bible is held as the only standard by which all things are measured.

3. As a result of our unconventional outreach efforts, many have been helped and many from diverse backgrounds worship and serve regularly in our mission group.

4. We practice the Adventist system of beliefs and biblical interpretation.

Our Passion Statement:
Anyone can pastor and pasture at HopeSide according to the calling and gifting of God for mission completion.  Ref: Acts 20:28, 1 Cor. 12 starting with praising God in one accord 2 Chron. 5:13-14.

Col. 3:11
11 [In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [who are the most savage of all], nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person].

Gal. 3:28
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Exodus 19:6
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

1 Peter 2:9
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Summary:
Each person is called the "church" or the body of Christ.  And thus each person is called to be the priest of that church or body first and foremost.  The church is not a building, its services or a denomination or a congregation or a "Church Corporation" though these entities exist for the purpose of administration.  Jesus did not die to save a building or a church congregation but each person.  In fact, God made sure that the two temples of the Old Testament were fully destroyed to clarify the purpose of those two temples.  The whole point of the Sanctuary and its services were to change the heart from the inside.  Too often we give more sanctity or importance to church buildings and services and corporate structures than to ourselves and each other.  We are made in His image and each person is a special image of God though we have fallen and come short of His glory.  The weekly service or gathering is an extension of the church or ourselves in order to edify and help one another according to the gifting and calling of God without respect to race or gender.  Therefore, once we realize who we are and whose we are, we can truly respect and love each other and everything can be restored.  Then, all confusion about what "church" is can disappear and we can become one in spirit and truth.

1 Cor. 3:16-17
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The Gospel:
The Gospel according to the Bible is the good news of salvation for all mankind freely offered through Jesus Christ.  We are therefore called to be that Gospel or good news individually to all we come across.
